Srinagar : Police on Sunday said that that while respond promptly to two medical emergency calls from remote areas of Sub-Division Khansahib, ensuring the safe evacuation of two women patients whose conditions had turned critical.
In a statement issued here on Sunday police said that a police team from Khansahib in response to a distress call from Batpora Shekhpora about a woman in severe pain transported her to Khansahib Hospital for treatment. Additionally, they addressed another urgent call from the Hariwanin area, where a pregnant woman required immediate medical assistance, ensuring her safe evacuation to the hospital. Local residents expressed appreciation for the police’s timely and humanitarian response, especially given the challenging terrain and limited medical access in remote areas. In its statement Police reiterated its commitment to community service and appealed people to seek assistance during emergencies.
