Srinagar: This week in KH Snippets, employment and youth empowerment took centre stage across India as Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the 18th Rozgar Mela. Highlighting India’s largest-ever youth population, Modi underlined how trade and mobility agreements with other countries, coupled with domestic recruitment initiatives, are creating unprecedented opportunities for young Indians.  

1: Trade Agreements To Boost Youth Opportunities, Says PM Modi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said India is signing trade and mobility agreements with various nations to create new opportunities for youth, both domestically and abroad. Speaking at the 18th Rozgar Mela via video conferencing, he highlighted that India has the largest youth population in the world and that the government is prioritising employment generation. The Rozgar Mela, held at 45 locations nationwide, connects young Indians with government jobs.

2: 61,000 Appointment Letters Distributed At Rozgar Mela: At the 18th Rozgar Mela on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi electronically handed over 61,000 appointment letters for government jobs to newly recruited candidates. The appointees will join key ministries and departments, including Home Affairs, Health and Family Welfare, Financial Services, and Higher Education. Since its inception, Rozgar Melas have issued over 11 lakh recruitment letters nationwide, reflecting the government’s ongoing efforts to provide employment opportunities for India’s youth.

Rozgar Mela Connects Youth Across 45 Locations: The 18th Rozgar Mela, held simultaneously at 45 locations on Saturday, facilitated recruitment of thousands of candidates into various government departments. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the initiative reflects the government’s focus on youth empowerment and employment generation. Newly recruited personnel will serve in ministries such as Home Affairs, Health, Financial Services, and Higher Education. The Rozgar Mela continues to be a flagship programme aimed at ensuring timely and organised recruitment of young talent across India.

PM Modi Highlights Youth-Centric Govt Policies: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the 18th Rozgar Mela, said the government is working to create opportunities for India’s youth through both domestic initiatives and international trade agreements. He stressed that employment generation remains a top priority and lauded the efforts of the Rozgar Mela in providing government jobs to young Indians. The newly recruited candidates, joining ministries including Health, Home Affairs, and Higher Education, represent the government’s commitment to bridging skill gaps and enhancing youth participation in public services.
  3. Rozgar Mela Strengthens Govt Recruitment Drive : The 18th Rozgar Mela, held on Saturday across 45 locations, saw thousands of appointment letters handed out to new government recruits. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said trade and mobility agreements with other countries will create additional opportunities for youth within India and abroad. Candidates selected for ministries including Home Affairs, Health, Financial Services, and Higher Education received their letters electronically. Since its launch, Rozgar Melas have issued over 11 lakh recruitment letters, demonstrating the initiative’s impact on youth employment.
