Kupwara : A review meeting to assess the progress of works under Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen), CD Panchayat, and Capex was held Thursday at the RDD Complex, Kupwara, under the chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Kupwara, Mufti Farid-U-Din.
The meeting was attended by ACP/ACD Kupwara, Executive Engineer REW Kupwara, all Block Development Officers (BDOs), and concerned AEE/AE/JE officers.
At the outset, ACP/ACD Kupwara briefed the Chair about the current status and physical progress of the ongoing works under the aforesaid schemes.
During the meeting, the ADDC Kupwara directed all BDOs and AEEs to identify suitable land for all SBM(G) projects on or before Tuesday, 27th January, 2026. He further instructed that in case of any difficulty, the concerned officers must personally visit the offices of the respective Tehsildars to resolve the issues at the earliest.
The Chair also emphasized the need to expedite the execution of works and directed all BDOs to ensure that the allotted targets are completed within the stipulated timeframe. He stressed for close monitoring, inter-departmental coordination, and timely completion to achieve the desired outcomes under the flagship schemes.
The meeting concluded with a call for enhanced accountability and prompt action at the field level.
