ADG  Armed reviews arrangements for 2nd All India Police Kabaddi Cluster 2025-26

Jammu: Anand JainAdditional Director General Armed on Fridaytchaired a preparatory meeting at Armed Police Headquarters to review and finalize the arrangements for the 2nd All India Police Kabbadi Cluster 2025-26. The national level sporting event, which is scheduled to be held from March 07-12,2026 at Jammu will feature competitions for both men and women in Kabaddi, Gymnastics, Fencing and Kho-Kho. Emphasis was placed on effective inter-departmental coordination, logistical preparedness, security arrangements, accommodation, transportation, medical facilities and overall event management to ensure successful conduct of the event.

During the deliberations, Jain emphasised the importance of showcasing the organisational capabilities of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, while ensuring a safe, disciplined and competitive atmosphere for sportspersons from across the country. He directed all concerned officers to strictly adhere to prescribed timelines and maintain close coordination with the organising committees to ensure seamless execution of the event.

Besides the etailed discussions were held on venue readiness, ceremonial arrangements, hospitality, sports infrastructure, communication systems and emergency response mechanisms. The medical preparedness plan, including the deployment of on-site medical teams and ambulance services, was also reviewed to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants and officials.

Among those present on the occasion include  Vinod Kumar, IPS, DIG IR Jammu,  Sameer Sharma, IPS, DIG AP Jammu,   Rajesh Sharma, IPS, SSP Security Jammu,  Dalip Kumar, SSP Staff Officer to ADG Armed, Commandants of Jammu-based Battalions,  Manoj Kumar Pandita, SSP, AIG Communications PHQ,  Rajinder Singh, SSP APCR Jammu, Dr. Ajay Misri, In-charge Medical Superintendent, Police Hospital Jammu,  Anil Khajuria, General Secretary, Gymnastics Association J&K,  Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, General Secretary, J&K Kabaddi Association,  Sunil Sharma, Coach, J&K Kho-Kho Association, and  Javed Choudhary, J&K Fencing Association, along with other  officers.
