Srinagar: Police on Thursday said that it has attached a vehicle under the provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) here in Anantnag.
In a statement issued here on Thursday Police said that an Alto car with registration no JK13E-5393 has been seized in connection with FIR No. 40/2025, filed at Police Station Uttrasoo. The case involves violations of sections 18, 20, 23, and 39 of the UAP Act, as well as section 7/25 of the Indian Arms Act. The attachment of the vehicle is part of an ongoing investigation and was conducted following established legal procedures. In its statement police reiterated its commitment to maintain peace and order in the region, emphasizing that individuals engaged in unlawful activities will face stringent legal repercussions.
