Jammu : Director Horticulture Jammu, Gul Syed Wednesday chaired a comprehensive review meeting here in the Conference Hall of the Directorate to assess the physical and financial progress of the horticulture schemes being implemented in the districts of Jammu Province.
The meeting was attended by the Joint Director Horticulture, Salil Gupta; Deputy Director (Central), Mukesh Sharma; Deputy Director (Planning), Divya Mahajan and all Chief Horticulture Officers of Jammu Province.
Also present were the Chief Canning Officer, Jammu, Sanjeev Karlupia; Manager-cum-Chemist, Jammu, Sureshta Gour; MCC Rajouri, Amit Sharaf; MCC Kathua, Anju Bala; Horticulture Information & Publicity Officer, Randhir Singh Parihar; NRO, Satish Kumar along with officers and officials from the Technical Section.
During the meeting, the Director reviewed district-wise progress, emphasized the timely utilization of funds and issued necessary directions to ensure effective implementation of departmental schemes for the benefit of farmers and other stakeholders. Officers were instructed to expedite pending works and maintain close monitoring to achieve both physical and financial targets within the stipulated timelines.
The Director reiterated the Department’s commitment to strengthening horticulture development and enhancing farmers’ income through the efficient execution of flagship schemes.
