DLSA Reasi organises awareness camp on National Youth Day 2026

20 participants participate in Chess, Carrom Board, Volleyball competitions

Reasi:  Under the visionary leadership of Khalil Choudhary, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Reasi (also Pr. District and Sessions Judge Reasi) and Pooja Gupta, Secretary DLSA Reasi, the District Legal Services Authority ReasiMonday organised a series of activities cum awareness programs to celebrate National Youth Day 2026 under the theme “ Ignite the self, Impact the World”.

An awareness programs were organised at Bhambla, Ransoo, Laiter and other villages of Mahore in by PLVs of DLSA Reasi and TLSC Mahore.

PLVs conducted interactive awareness programmes, group discussions and community meetings with local youth to highlight the importance of National Youth Day and to commemorate the ideals and teachings of Swami Vivekanand whose vision continues to inspire the youth of the nation.

The programmes focused on empowering young people through legal awareness, moral values, discipline, social responsibility and active participation in nation building.

During the interactions, PLVs sensitized the youth about various welfare schemes, legal aid services and the role of Legal Services Authorities in ensuring access to justice for all, especially for the marginalized and underprivileged sections of the society.

Emphasis was also laid on motivating the youth to stay away from social evils, adopt positive life goals and contribute constructively towards peace, harmony and development in their respective areas.

Another program was organised at Shree Vel Ji Vishram Popat Chatravaas Disha Kadmal, Katra by organising sports competition.

As many as 20 participants participated in Chess, Carrom Board and Volleyball. Winners were felicitated with trophies and participants were given medals for their active participation.
