Samba : Deputy Commissioner, Ayushi Sudan Saturday chaired a district-level review meeting to assess the progress of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) 3.0, with a focus on achieving complete saturation of all eligible beneficiaries in the district.

The meeting was attended by the Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD); Assistant Director Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA); Block Development Officers (BDOs); Assistant Legal Controller, Metrology; District Nodal Officer (LPG) and dealers of all concerned Gas Agencies.

At the outset, the Assistant Director FCS&CA, Rahul Gupta briefed the chair on the current progress, coverage status and field-level implementation of PMUY 3.0 across various blocks of the district.

After reviewing the progress, the Deputy Commissioner directed all BDOs to prepare block-wise schedules for organising PMUY camps in coordination with Gas Agencies and concerned departments. She stressed that the camps must be conducted in a time-bound and focused manner to ensure that no eligible household is left out.

The Deputy Commissioner further emphasised the need for strong inter-departmental coordination, proactive outreach and continuous monitoring to achieve the objective of 100 percent saturation under PMUY 3.0 in District Samba.
