Reasi: Deputy Commissioner Reasi Nidhi Malik Friday distributed nutrition kits among 14 Tuberculosis (TB) patients under the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.
The nutrition kits comprised essential food items designed to improve patients’ overall health and boost immunity during the treatment period.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC emphasized the importance of proper nutrition in strengthening immunity and enhancing the effectiveness of TB treatment. She reaffirmed the district administration’s commitment to supporting TB patients through coordinated efforts of the Health Department and allied agencies, in alignment with the objectives of the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.
She urged the patients to strictly adhere to the prescribed course of treatment and assured them of continuous support from the district administration throughout their recovery journey.
Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr. Mohammad Ashraf Kohli, Dy CMO and other concerned officers were also present during the event.
