DC B’pora reviews progress of HADP implementation

Bandipora: Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, Friday chaired a review meeting to assess the progress of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) in the district.

During the meeting, the Chief Agriculture Officer Bandipora presented a comprehensive overview of departmental performance, covering Daksh Kisan implementation, establishment and output tracking, financial utilisation, KKG registrations, credit flow under HADP including applications and sanctions, and the status of JKCIP applications with respect to coverage and approvals.

During the meeting, It was noted that there has been substantial improvement in data capturing across departments, reflecting better reporting, monitoring, and implementation of HADP-related activities.

The review also covered the status of applications received, approved by the District Level Committee (DLC), under process, rejected and those ready for DLC across Agriculture, Horticulture, Sericulture, Animal Husbandry (HADP and IDDS), Fisheries, Sheep Husbandry and Horticulture (P&M).

On the occasion, detailed discussions were held on the number of units established, units tracked on the OTA platform and those pending tracking under various sectors. The status of Daksh Kisan was reviewed sector-wise, including farmers registered, enrolled in courses and those who completed training, along with data on farms and farmers registered on the KKG App.

The Deputy Commissioner stressed the need for timely completion of e-KYC, accuracy in data reporting and close monitoring of expenditure across all allied sectors to ensure effective implementation of HADP and achievement of intended outcomes.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Agriculture Officer Bandipora; Chief Horticulture Officer Bandipora; Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Bandipora; District Sheep Husbandry Officer Bandipora; District Sericulture Officer Bandipora; Assistant Director Fisheries Bandipora; Area Marketing Officer (P&M) Bandipora; Lead District Manager J&K Bank Bandipora; and other concerned officers.
