Shopian : On the directions of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Shishir Gupta, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Shopian, Dr. Zakir Hussain Faaz Friday undertook a detailed inspection of coaching centres functioning across the district to ensure strict compliance with prescribed guidelines and to safeguard the interests of students.
The ADC inspected multiple coaching centers including Great Lancet Classes, New Bright Career Institute, New Brilliant Coaching Center, Brills Coaching Institute, Rising Genius,
Paraworld Educations, Efforts to Success and Mother’s Diamond Academy Kachadoora Shopian.
During the inspection, the ADC thoroughly reviewed the registration status of the coaching centres and examined adherence to safety and fire precaution orders. A detailed assessment of faculty/staff strength, number of students on roll and overall administrative functioning was also carried out.
The ADC inspected the availability and functionality of essential basic amenities, including safe drinking water, uninterrupted electricity supply, proper heating arrangements in view of prevailing weather conditions and adequate infrastructure. Special emphasis was laid on the provision of clean and separate toilet facilities for boys and girls.
Interacting with students, the ADC sought feedback on teaching quality, availability of study material, classroom environment and overall satisfaction with the coaching centres. Students were encouraged to share their concerns freely.
