Budgam : Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Khansahib, Jahangir Ahmad Giri, Thursday chaired a preparatory meeting to finalse the arrangements for the upcoming Republic day celebrations here at Government Degree College (GDC), Khansahib.
During the meeting, the SDM took a detailed stock of all necessary arrangements related to the Republic Day parade, including security measures, logistics, and coordination among departments. Emphasis was laid on ensuring the attendance of all the government officials and flag hoisting at all the government office. It was also urged upon officers to illuminate all govt offices on the eve of Republic day.
The officers were also directed to showcase their achievements and public welfare schemes by putting up their kiosks at the venue to make the Republic Day celebrations more attractive, successful and dignified.
Meanwhile, Sub-Divisional administration Khansahib appealed the general public to ensure greater participation in the Republic Day function which shall start at 9:30 am at Government Degree college khansahib.
All the Subdivisional level officers including the SDPO Khansahib, Tehsildar Khansahib, Block Medical Officer (BMO) Khansahib, Principal Government Degree College Khansahib, all Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs), and heads of various line departments attended the meeting.
