Samba : Deputy Commissioner Samba Ayushi Sudan Wednesday gave away certificates to 22 youth, who have completed the Management Development Programme (MDP-4) orientation course conducted under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme at JKEDI.

At the outset, the District Nodal Officer (DNO) JKEDI Samba briefed the Deputy Commissioner about the core objectives of the RAMP Scheme, including strengthening entrepreneurial capacity, enhancing managerial skills and promoting sustainable growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

The Deputy Commissioner interacted with the trainees to assess the impact and outcomes of the six-day training programme. The participants shared their experiences, learning outcomes and personal growth achieved through the programme. They spoke about the training modules, including entrepreneurship development, business planning, financial management, marketing strategies, compliance and digital tools which enhanced their confidence and preparedness to start or scale their enterprises.

The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the efforts of JKEDI in implementing the RAMP scheme effectively at the district level and encouraged the trainees to apply the knowledge gained for creating sustainable livelihoods and contributing to local economic development. She emphasized that such capacity building initiatives play a crucial role in nurturing entrepreneurship and generating employment opportunities.

The programme concluded with the distribution of certificates and reaffirmation of the district administration’s commitment to supporting aspiring entrepreneurs through structured training and institutional handholding under flagship schemes like RAMP.
