Jammu: Cluster University of Jammu (CLUJ) today flagged off its vibrant Cultural Contingent for participation in the 39th Inter-University Youth Festival (North Zone), being organised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi, and hosted by Chitkara University, Chandigarh. The national-level festival brings together some of the finest young talents from universities across the northern region, offering a prestigious platform for artistic and cultural expression.
The flag-off ceremony for the cultural contingent of Cluster University of Jammu (CLUJ) held at Government MAM College, Jammu was led by Dr. Twinkle Suri, Dean of Academic Affairs. The event was attended by notable figures including Prof. D. S. Manhas, Dean of Students Welfare, and other faculty and administrative officials. Vice-Chancellor Prof. K. S. Chandrasekar emphasized the significance of cultural platforms in higher education, highlighting their role in fostering holistic learning. He expressed confidence in the students’ ability to showcase their talents and represent the cultural heritage of Jammu and Kashmir with pride and excellence. Dr. Twinkle Suri referred to the participants as cultural ambassadors of CLUJ, urging them to perform confidently and uphold the institution’s values. Prof. D. S.
