Jammu : Apni Party President, Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari has condemned divisive agenda adopted by some political parties, who have communalized merit based selections of MBBS students in Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Institute of Medical Excellence (SMVDIME), Katra.
Addressing a meeting of party workers in Jammu Bukhari commended people for maintaining peace despite provocations, and repeated attempts to disturb harmony by invoking communal sentiments. He condemned the political parties for communalising the MBBS admissions in SMVDIME, Katra although these admissions were purely made on merit basis. He also expressed serious concern over a blast near Lal Qila, New Delhi, and an explosion at Police Station Nowgam. Expressing solidarity with the victims who have lost their lives in both these incidents Bukhari extended support to the security forces for ensuring a safe and secure environment post-explosions, while urging that no innocent shall be harassed. He also condemned the National Conference Govt for its failure to provide basic amenities and free electricity to the people in Jammu as well as Kashmir. He said that the NC Govt has misled the people with false slogans to gain support, and later, it failed to deliver.
