POONCH, JANUARY 03: The District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) for Mission YUVA met today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Ashok Kumar Sharma.

The Committee approved 110 new cases, marking another major milestone in promoting entrepreneurship, self-employment and youth empowerment under the Mission YUVA initiative.

The meeting was attended by all the members of the Small Business Development Unit (SBDU). The members actively participated in the deliberations and shared valuable inputs to enhance transparency and efficiency in the implementation process.

While reviewing the cases, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts among all stakeholders for the timely processing and disbursement of approved cases. He reiterated that Mission YUVA is not merely a financial support program but a transformative initiative aimed at empowering youth and fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem in the district.

The Lead District Manager (LDM) was asked to ensure speedy disbursement of approved cases to facilitate early start of beneficiary ventures.

Highlighting Mission YUVA as a key driver of employment generation, the DC called for regular field verification and follow-up to ensure all sanctioned projects are implemented as per approved plans. He urged the implementing agencies to provide continuous mentoring and handholding support to beneficiaries.

The meeting concluded with a collective commitment from all DLIC and SBDU members to work with renewed dedication and integrity toward taking Poonch district a model of youth empowerment and entrepreneurship in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
