Jammu: BJP President and MP (Rajya Sabha), Sat Sharma, along with party General Secretaries Sanjita Dogra and Gopal Mahajan, MLA Vikram Randhawa, Party Secretary Reema Padha, District Prabhari Parduman Singh, and District President Naresh Singh Jasrotia, addressed an Atal Samriti Sammelan of Bahu Assembly Constituency at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. Senior party leaders also paid rich tributes to former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, remembering his visionary leadership and enduring legacy.
Addressing the party leader Sat Sharma highlighted the significant life and contributions of Atal Bihari Vajpayee to India. He portrayed Vajpayee not just as a statesman but as a guiding light for Indian democracy, highlighting his commitment to consensus, inclusivity, and national interest. In connection with Sushasan Diwas, which commemorates Vajpayee’s birth anniversary, Sharma underscored the importance of good governance, transparency, and a people-centric approach as fundamental aspects of Vajpayee’s leadership. He noted that Vajpayee earned respect even from political adversaries, symbolizing dignified and inclusive politics in India. Sanjita Dogra provided a comprehensive overview of Vajpayee’s life and historic contributions, focusing on his efforts to strengthen democratic institutions, uplift marginalized communities, and enhance infrastructure, particularly in road connectivity. She also praised his bold foreign policy, which positioned India as a confident and responsible player on the global stage. Ch. Vikram Randhawa characterized Vajpayee as a leader of exceptional integrity, whose decisions were driven by a vision for national unity and long-term progress. He remarked that Vajpayee’s ideals continue to motivate BJP workers to serve society with dedication. During the Sammelan, Parduman Singh, Divya Jain, and Nitish Mahajan recited poignant poems that celebrated the life, thoughts, and enduring ideals of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, further honoring his legacy.
