ADDC Shopian reviews progress under HADP, JKCIP in Distt

Shopian: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Shopian, Dr. Nasir Ahmed Lone, Tuesday chaired a District Level Committee meeting to review the progress of Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) and J&K Comprehensive Integrated Project (JKCIP) at Mini Secretariat, Shopian.
The meeting held detailed deliberations on sector-wise progress, inter-departmental convergence and strategies to accelerate agricultural growth in the district. Emphasis was laid on coordinated planning and effective execution to maximise outcomes under both flagship programmes.
The ADDC stressed timely execution of approved projects, improved inter-departmental coordination and outcome-oriented implementation to ensure that tangible benefits reach farmers and allied stakeholders at the grassroots level.He pressed for the need for innovation, sustainability and inclusive growth to transform Shopian’s agriculture sector.
ADDC Shopian also called for regular reviews to monitor progress and address bottlenecks promptly.Officers were directed to ensure ground-level saturation, expedite project approvals and ensure optimal utilisation of funds.
The meeting was attended by GM, DIC Shurjil Naik; LDM, Farooq Ahmed; CEO, CHO, CAO, DSHO and officers from allied departments, who presented updated progress of their respective sectors.
