Srinagar: Bharti Airtel has launched “Airtel Cartoon Network Classics,” an exclusive value-added service on Airtel Digital TV, in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery.
The new channel features iconic animated franchises such as Tom and Jerry, The Flintstones, Looney Tunes, Scooby Doo, and Johnny Bravo, catering to audiences who grew up with these beloved shows while also introducing them to new generations. Pushpinder Singh Gujral, DTH-Business Head at Airtel, emphasized that this channel enhances their entertainment portfolio, allowing customers to reconnect with cherished stories and characters. The service is priced at ₹59 per month and is available on Channel 445 in both English and Hindi, offering an ad-free viewing experience across various set-top boxes without the need for additional equipment. Arjun Nohwar, Managing Director of South Asia at Warner Bros. Discovery, highlighted the collaboration’s goal of celebrating the legacy of these characters and making them accessible to contemporary audiences. This partnership reinforces Airtel’s commitment to providing high-quality, family-friendly content and expands its leadership in content offerings. Customers can easily activate the Airtel Cartoon Network Classics service through their set-top box, a missed call, or the Airtel Thanks app, ensuring a seamless experience for subscribers eager to enjoy classic cartoons.
