Reasi: On the sixth day of the week-long Good Governance Week campaign “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore”, the District Administration Reasi, under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Nidhi Malik, continued its sustained grassroots outreach initiatives aimed at delivering government services at the doorsteps of citizens and promoting responsive, transparent and citizen-centric governance across the district.
As part of the campaign, the Agriculture Department organized a Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore camp at Panchayat Bharkh, Zone Pouni, Sub-Division Reasi, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of farmers.
During the camp, farmers were sensitized about various flagship schemes of the department, including the Kisan Credit Card (KCC), Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) and the Soil Health Card (SHC) scheme. Officials encouraged the farmers to avail benefits under these schemes and three KCC application forms were filled on the spot to facilitate immediate service delivery.
The Jal Shakti Department (Public Health Engineering), Sub-Division Katra initiated door-to-door visits to the households of beneficiaries for the collection of water revenue and to address issues related to non-regularised water connections.
The field staff engaged directly with residents to ensure public-friendly revenue collection, hassle-free grievance redressal and enhanced accountability at the grassroots level.
Additionally, Aadhaar enrolment and updation camps were organized at various panchayats under the Poshan Project Reasi as part of SushasanSaptah.
These camps aimed to facilitate Aadhaar services for beneficiaries across all age groups, thereby strengthening access to welfare schemes and ensuring inclusion of all eligible beneficiaries.
