DC Kishore approves 234 cases under JKCIP scheme

Ganderbal: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore, Wednesday chaired a comprehensive meeting to conduct a detailed, project-wise review of the performance of Agriculture and Allied Departments in the district.
The meeting assessed the progress achieved under Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), KissanKhidmatGhars (KKGs), and the Jammu & Kashmir Competitiveness Improvement of Agriculture and Allied Sectors Project (JKCIP) schemes.
During the meeting, the District Nodal Officer, HADP, presented a detailed Power Point presentation highlighting achievement made during the current financial year 2025–26. The presentation covered output tracking status, progress under Daksh Kisan, financial expenditure under HADP, farmer registration and e-KYC through KKGs, credit application status, JKCIP progress, Kisan Sathi activities, and other related components.
The DC reviewed achievements made so far and identified gaps in implementation. He directed the concerned departments to take proactive measures to bridge deficiencies and ensure maximum farmer coverage and ensure maximum unit establishment at the earliest.
The DC emphasized the need for close monitoring of output tracking and instructed departments to reduce the gap between enrolment and course completion under the Daksh Kisan initiative within a stipulated timeframe. Regarding Level-2 and Level-3 registrations, he directed officers to intensify efforts, set department-wise targets, and ensure substantial progress.
He further directed departments to entertain new applications under JKCIP and clear all under-process cases by December 31.
The DC also instructed departments to significantly improve expenditure levels under agriculture-related schemes. Lead District Manager was directed to ensure disposal of pending credit applications at the bank level.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed and accorded approval to cases submitted under JKCIP. After a thorough evaluation, he approved a total of 234 cases under the scheme.
