Beneficiaries allotted sanction letters under multiple govt schemes

Anantnag: As part of the ongoing Good Governance Week (Sushasan Saptah-2025) being organised under the flagship campaign ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’ and to strengthen efficient and citizen-centric governance, a one day district-level workshop was held Tuesday at Town Hall Anantnag.
The event was presided over by the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Sandeep Singh Bali and attended by ACD, CAO, DSEO, ARTO, Tehsildar Anantnag, DAO, officers and officials of line departments, civil society members and the general public.
The ADDC in his address impressed upon the officers to ensure saturation of centrally sponsored and other government schemes, expedite grievance redressal and enhance the quality of public service delivery across the district.
During the workshop, resource persons from Transport, AYUSH, Agriculture and other departments imparted awareness to the general public about key government services, schemes and initiatives.
On the occasion, beneficiaries from multiple departments including Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries, RDD, Social Welfare, ICDS, Health, Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry and Industries were provided sanction letters.
Additionally, documentaries highlighting achievements and good governance practices of the district were screened and beneficiaries of Agriculture (HADP), Animal Husbandry and Industries Departments shared testimonials about the success of their self-employment units established under various government schemes.
The workshop reaffirmed the district administration’s commitment to participatory governance and improved service delivery at the grassroots level.
