DLRC meeting of 2nd Quarter held at Kupwara

Kupwara: The 2nd District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting was held Monday under the chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kupwara, Mufti Fareed ud Din, at the Meeting Hall of the D.C Office, Kupwara.
The meeting reviewed the performance of banks and line departments with regard to implementation of various government-sponsored schemes and development programmes in the district. Emphasis was laid on improving credit flow, timely disposal of cases, and strengthening coordination among stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of services to the public.
During the meeting, the ADDC stressed upon concerned departments and financial institutions to work in close coordination to achieve set targets and address bottlenecks, if any, in the implementation of developmental initiatives. He also underscored the importance of monitoring progress regularly to ensure inclusive and sustainable development in the district.
Earlier, LDM Kupwara briefed the meeting about the progress and achievements made by the banks during the 2nd quarter of the ongoing Financial Year 2025-26. It was informed that Rs.124.72 crore has been disbursed among 7953 beneficiaries by the banks under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana during the second quarter. Besides, 1149 cases were sanctioned under PM Vishwakarma, 158 cases disbursed under PMEGP during the same period.
Regarding PM Surya Ghar- Muft Bijli Yojana, an amount of Rs. 1330 lakh has been disbursed among 805 cases. Under Kissan Credit Card Scheme, it was informed that Rs.6.93 crore have been disbursed among 759 cases till ending September 2025.
It was also informed that Rs.2472.1 crore advances have been given under priority sector till ending 2nd quarter.
The ADDC stressed upon all the bankers and line departments to maximize their outreach in the district especially in far flung areas so that large number of people could take benefit under various centrally sponsored schemes.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer Kupwara, Chief Agriculture Officer; Lead District Manager; LDO RBI, Cluster Head, along with officers from various line departments.
