Ramban: The Good Governance Week -2025 activities, under the flagship public outreach campaign “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore”, continued across Ramban district on the second day under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Alyas Khan. The campaign aims to strengthen last-mile delivery of government services and promote transparent, responsive and citizen-centric governance by taking administration directly to the doorsteps of the people, particularly in rural and remote areas.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Varunjeet Singh Charak presided over an outreach programme at Block Rajgarh, featuring stalls put up by different departments to facilitate on-the-spot service delivery and grievance redressal.
Interacting with the public, the ADDC said that the initiative has been designed to facilitate citizens by ensuring easy access to government schemes and services at their door steps.
After listening to the grievances raised by local residents, the ADC resolved several issues on the spot by issuing necessary directions to the concerned departments. He advised the people to proactively avail themselves of the benefits of various government welfare schemes and encouraged them to approach departmental stalls for proper guidance and handholding.
