Srinagar : Police on Saturday said that it has seized three vehicles (tippers and dumpers) used in illegal excavation and transportation of minerals in Khrew Awantipora.
In a statement issued here on Saturday Police in Khrew have taken decisive action against illegal mineral extraction and transportation. A police team, led by the Station House Officer (SHO) seized three vehicles, including two tippers and one dumper, involved in these activities. Following the seizure, a case has been registered under FIR No. 99/2025 at Police Station Khrew, and an investigation is currently underway to address the illegal operations.
