*Gulmarg SDM, SDPO Review Winter Preparedness Arrangements in Tangmarg*

Tangmarg, Dec 19 : The Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Gulmarg, along with the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Tangmarg, on Wednesday convened a meeting at the Town Hall, Tangmarg, to review and discuss arrangements for winter preparedness in the sub-division.

According to KNS The meeting was attended by officers from all concerned departments, including civil administration, police, health, PWD, power, water supply, and municipal authorities.

Detailed discussions were held on ensuring uninterrupted essential services during the winter season, particularly snow clearance, electricity and water supply, healthcare facilities, road connectivity, and emergency response mechanisms.

The SDM Gulmarg stressed the need for inter-departmental coordination and timely execution of winter preparedness plans to minimize inconvenience to the public. The SDPO Tangmarg emphasized strengthening traffic management, public safety measures, and emergency preparedness during snowfall and adverse weather conditions.

Officers were directed to remain alert, keep men and machinery in readiness, and ensure swift response to any exigency during the winter months.
