Anantnag Police on Thursday conducted comprehensive vehicle checking along National Highway 44 (NH44) in Bijbehara and established a special naka near Donipora Sangam.

The initiative was aimed at strengthening security measures and ensuring the safety of commuters.

To enhance the operation, services of the K9 Dog Squad were deployed, enabling effective detection and deterrence against the nefarious designs of anti-national elements.

Anantnag Police remains steadfast in its commitment to maintaining a peaceful and secure environment in the district. The cooperation of the general public is earnestly sought to support these efforts and contribute towards collective safety.
