Good Governance Week 2025: RambanAdmin gears up for “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” Campaign

Ramban: As part of Good Governance Week 2025, the District Administration Ramban is all set to launch the flagship outreach campaign “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” scheduled from December 19 to 25, 2025.
In this regard, Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Alyas Khan chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess preparedness and finalize the roadmap for effective implementation of the week-long campaign across the district.
The meeting was attended by Additional Superintendent of Police, Mujeeb-Ur-Rehman; ACR, Shokat Hayat Mattoo; CPO, Dr. Shakeeb Ahmed Rather; ACD, Sehraz Ahmed; SDM Baniha,l Mohammad Naseeb Bajraan; CMO, Dr Kamal Je Zadu; DFO, Batote Abhinav Ramotra; Executive Engineers of Jal Shakti and PWD along with other concerned district and sectoral officers.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need for meticulous implementation of all the schemes to achieve the set targets. He informed that a mega inaugural event under the campaign will be held on December 19, 2025 at Batote, while the culmination event will take place at Ramban.
Highlighting the objectives of the campaign, the Deputy Commissioner said that “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” aims to strengthen last-mile service delivery, on the spot redressal of public grievances, documenting good governance practices and promoting innovation and accountability in administration. He designated the Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) as the Nodal Officer for overall coordination of the campaign.
The Deputy Commissioner directed line departments to set up stalls at designated locations as per the schedule, and focus on the spot redressal of public issues. Officers were instructed to submit daily progress reports along with photographs for monitoring and timely uploading on the online portal.
The DC also stressed showcasing sector-wise achievements, best practices and promotion of success stories through video presentations. He directed the officers to sensitize the people about schemes of rural development, agriculture and allied sector, revenue services, healthcare, education, besides promoting PM Surya Ghar Yojana, PM Sehat, SAMADHAN portal registrations, pension schemes, anti-drug initiatives, sports promotion, social assistance, issuance of Digital Life Certificates and key banking sector schemes.
