Jammu:The Jammu & Kashmir Police is making comprehensive preparations to organise Jammu Marathon 2025” on December 28, 2025, at Gulshan Ground, Jammu, under its Civic Action Programme (CAP).
A preparatory meeting was held on Friday at APHQ Jammu, chaired by Anand Jain, ADG Armed J&K, who is also Chairman of the Organising Committee. During the meeting, Jain reviewed the current status of arrangements and issued detailed instructions to the officers concerned to ensure the efficient, secure, and successful conduct of the event.
At the outset, Dy.SP Kuldeep Handoo, Sports Officer APHQ, delivered a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation, highlighting various preparedness measures, logistic framework, and the proposed activity schedule for the event.
After the conclusion of the event, a prize distribution ceremony will take place at Gulshan Ground, Jammu. This will be followed by raffle draw of chest numbers, where the first, second and third place winners will receive Cycles. Eight Registration Counters have been setup (06 in Jammu and 02 in Srinagar) for participants who wish to register for the event.
