New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as part of his ongoing series of engagements with National Democratic Alliance (NDA) MPs during the Winter Session, convened a pivotal meeting with representatives from Uttar Pradesh in his Parliament chamber Friday. The session, focused on enhancing governmental outreach and strengthening the party’s connection with citizens, concluded on an exceptionally positive and encouraging note, according to sources close to the development.
In a clear push towards modernized communication, Prime Minister Modi strongly advised the MPs to leverage technology to ensure the government’s developmental work and initiatives reach the public more effectively. He underscored the critical need for robust communication and urged all MPs to maintain a heightened and proactive presence on social media platforms to significantly bolster public outreach.
The Prime Minister reassured the assembled MPs of his unwavering support, employing a powerful, personal metaphor: “Ye majdoor aapke sath khada, aap bas kaam kariye” (This laborer stands with you; you just focus on your work).
Taking a direct swipe at the opposition, particularly the Congress party, the Prime Minister highlighted a fundamental difference in governance styles. He criticized the Congress for merely making promises and exhibiting activity only as elections approach.
In sharp contrast, he asserted that the NDA government works diligently and consistently throughout the entire year. However, he noted that the government’s landmark schemes and achievements often do not receive sufficient publicity among the populace—a gap the MPs are now tasked with filling through improved communication strategies.
The meeting’s core objective was to streamline these communication efforts and solidify the This strategic interaction follows a delightful dinner hosted by the Prime Minister for NDA MPs on Friday evening, which he commemorated on his X (formerly Twitter) account.
“Was a delight to have hosted NDA MPs for dinner at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg this evening. The NDA family represents a shared commitment to good governance, national development and regional aspirations. Together, we will continue working to strengthen our nation’s development journey in the years ahead,” PM Modi posted.
