Jammu : Inter Zone Sports Tournament commenced on Thursday at the historic Gulshan Ground, Jammu, bringing together athletes, coaches, and sports enthusiasts from across the UT of J&K. Organized with the aim of promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and emerging talent, the tournament marks a significant milestone in promoting sports among the budding athletes and personnel of J&K Police.
According to a statement issued from ADGP Armed Police file a wide range of sports events including athletics, football, volleyball, kabaddi, Wushu, Basketball and indoor games etc will be conducted over the next several days. Each zone has fielded talented athletes who have been preparing rigorously to showcase their skills and bring laurels to their respective areas.
Special arrangements have been made to ensure smooth conduct of the tournament. The Inter Zone Sports Tournament not only celebrates athletic excellence but also serves as a platform for identifying promising players for higher-level competitions.
