Focused on customer convenience, J&K Bank rolls out a suite of new digital products, services

Srinagar :In line with its commitment to technological excellence and customer convenience, J&K Bank Thursday rolled out a suite of new Digital Products and IT Services in a special function held at the Bank’s Corporate Headquarters. This marks a significant upgrade to the Bank’s IT capabilities designed to enhance transaction ease, strengthen security and deliver a more seamless user experience.
MD & CEO Amitava Chatterjee launched several new digital banking products from the Bank’s Jammu Office, emphasizing the importance of digital transformation in modern banking. He highlighted the shift from traditional branch-led services to an omni-channel, tech-enabled model, allowing customers to bank anytime and anywhere. Chatterjee described the new offerings as essential advancements in the Bank’s digital capabilities, particularly noting the potential of the Voice-pod App for voice-activated UPI payment notifications, which enhances user convenience. The newly introduced products include the RuPay Platinum Credit Card, which supports various payment methods through UPI applications, and an Automated Digital Fraud Management system designed to enhance security by enabling real-time transaction monitoring and rapid reporting of suspicious activities. Additionally, the Re-KYC feature via mPay Delight+ allows customers to update their KYC information digitally, streamlining the process and reducing the need for branch visits. Executive Director Sudhir Gupta praised the teams involved in these developments and emphasized the Bank’s commitment to building a long-term digital transformation framework that adapts to changing customer needs and regulatory requirements. General Manager Mohammad Muzaffar Wani elaborated on the features of the new products, stating that they aim to provide a superior banking experience by integrating advanced technologies. The launch also included a revamped IMPS service for instant fund transfers and a personalized cheque book issuance feature through the mPay Delight+ app, further enhancing customer convenience. Overall, the Bank aims to ensure that customers are well-informed about these new offerings to maximize their benefits.
