Baramulla : Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, Tuesday chaired a detailed review meeting to assess the physical and financial progress of various ongoing projects under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) programme at the meeting hall at DC office Baramulla.
At the outset, the DC took a comprehensive project-wise review of the ongoing works and sought updates on the current status, achievements, and timelines.
The DC instructed officers to maintain strict adherence to the approved deadlines and ensure that all ongoing projects are executed with high standards of quality and transparency.
Furthermore, Minga Sherpa emphasized the importance of proper financial management and utilization of funds, directing departments to ensure that expenditure remains aligned with physical progress on ground.
Stressing the importance of SASCI in strengthening infrastructure and improving public service delivery across the district, the DC reiterated that the timely completion of these projects would significantly benefit citizens at the grassroots level.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Planning Officer, Nisar Ahmad; Assistant Commissioner Development, Chaudhary Mudasir Hussain and other senior officers from various departments.
