Bandipora : The NSS Units of HKM Degree College Bandipora, in collaboration with the Department of Political Science, successfully organized a seminar on the theme “Importance of the Indian Constitution in Nation Building” on Monday.
The programme was held to strengthen constitutional awareness among students and highlight the foundational role of the Constitution in guiding national progress.
The event commenced with introductory remarks by the Officiating Principal, Dr. Mubashir Hamid Mir, who emphasized the relevance of constitutional literacy for youth and the importance of understanding democratic values for responsible citizenship.
A faculty member from the Department of Political Science delivered the keynote lecture, who deliberated on the significance, core values, and transformative role of the Indian Constitution in shaping the nation’s political, social, and legal framework.
The seminar was marked by thoughtful discussions and meaningful student involvement, reflecting the college’s commitment to promoting constitutional values and informed citizenship.
