Srinagar,06 Dec: On the occasion of 70th death anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, Jammu & Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah paid homage to the principal architect of the Indian Constitution and a pioneering advocate of social justice, equality, and democratic rights.
In his tribute, Dr. Farooq said, “Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s contributions to the nation remain foundational. His work in shaping the Constitution established a framework that upholds justice, equality, and the dignity of every citizen. His life continues to inspire generations to strengthen democratic values and promote harmony in society.”
He further said, “Dr. Ambedkar dedicated his life to ensure that vulnerable and marginalized communities received the rights and protections they deserved. On his death anniversary, it is important to reflect on his vision for an equitable and progressive India.”
He also recalled Dr. Ambedkar’s enduring legacy as a scholar, economist, reformer, and statesman whose ideas laid the groundwork for inclusive governance across the country. “Dr. Ambedkar’s principles remain relevant and continue to serve as a guiding force for building a more just and participatory society,”he added.
