Srinagar: Flight operations at Srinagar International Airport were partially affected on Friday, with 34 scheduled flights — 17 arrivals and 17 departures — cancelled, including 16 from IndiGo, airport officials said.
Despite the disruptions, the airport operated 30 flights during the day, comprising 15 arrivals and 15 departures.
Officials said the airport had 64 scheduled movements — 32 arrivals and 32 departures — for the day. Of these, 34 flights were cancelled, including 16 IndiGo and one SpiceJet movement in each direction.
“IndiGo cancelled 14 arriving and 14 departing flights,” an official said.
IndiGo has been facing a major operational crisis over the past week, with hundreds of flights cancelled across the country due to a severe crew shortage following the aviation regulator DGCA’s implementation of revised Flight Duty Time Limitations (FDTL).
