DC G’bal chairs monthly Revenue meeting, takes stock of progress in key revenue matters

Ganderbal: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore Thursday chaired a comprehensive review meeting to take stock of the functioning of the Revenue department in the district.

The DC reviewed in detail the progress achieved under DILRMP, SVAMITA, ULPIN and digitization of revenue records.

He also sought the status of migrant land alienation cases, online services under Public Service Guarantee Act (PSGA), Fard, Revenue extracts, Mutations, certificates issued under Jan Sugam portal, grievances on Samadhan portal, rectification of revenue records under Section 27, status of departmental enquiries other key revenue matters in the district.

During the meeting, the DC stressed the need for speeding up the disposal of pending cases to ensure timely delivery of services to the public. He instructed the concerned officers to ensure prompt delivery of various services within the timeline stipulated under the Public Service Guarantee Act (PSGA).

He also reviewed the status of Revenue Court Cases in RCCM and directed to ensure timely disposal of revenue cases.

The DC also directed concerned officers to expeditiously clear pendencies of rectification under Section-27.

He urged Revenue department officials to work with renewed commitment to uphold transparency, responsiveness, and citizen-centric governance in the district.

Among others, the meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Tehsildars and allied officers.
