Srinagar: The Special Cell under the aegis of the Department of Students’ Welfare (DSW), University of Kashmir (KU), organised a day-long programme at the Main Campus to observe the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
Dr. Milind recently chaired an interaction-cum-review meeting with key stakeholders at NIT Srinagar, including Deans, Heads of Departments, and senior administrative officials. The meeting featured a presentation by Director Prof. Binod Kumar Kanaujia, who provided an overview of the institute’s academic performance, research initiatives, financial progress, infrastructural development, and future opportunities. Dr. Milind acknowledged the institution’s rich legacy and expressed his commitment to enhancing its potential. In his inaugural address, Dr. Milind outlined his vision for NIT Srinagar, emphasizing the importance of strengthening the Incubation Centre, improving placement outcomes, fostering industry-academia collaboration, and enhancing the institute’s NIRF ranking. He highlighted research enrichment, student support, and innovation-driven initiatives as key priorities, asserting that collective effort and commitment to excellence are essential for achieving these goals.
