Mehdhar: Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, has expressed profound sorrow over the demise of Ateeqa Jan, DDC Member and wife of former MLA Late Ghulam Mohd Jan and mother of MLA Haveli Ajaz Ahmed Jan.
He stated that Ateeqa Jan embodied integrity, compassion and a lifelong commitment to public welfare, qualities that earned her widespread admiration across the region. Her gentle nature, dignified presence and sincere dedication to community service made her a cherished and respected figure among all who knew her.
The Minister conveyed his condolences to Ajaz Ahmed Jan and the bereaved family. He prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
