This Volvo Multi-Axle Sleeper Coach, which is the first of its kind in Jammu and Kashmir, has been introduced to cater to the growing need for safer and more comfortable travel between Srinagar and Delhi. The innovative coach comes equipped with an array of world-class features aimed at enhancing passenger safety and comfort. The key features of the Volvo Sleeper Coach includes 40-Seater Capacity offering a comfortable travel experience with its spacious and luxurious sleeper seats.
For enhanced passenger safety, the coach is equipped with CCTV cameras to ensure a secure journey. The coach also includes a washroom facility, an essential feature for long-distance travel. The Volvo coach is fitted with air-free suspension, providing a smooth and jerk-free ride, particularly for long journeys.

The Transport Commissioner, while inaugurating the coach, lauded the initiative as a significant step forward for public transport in Jammu and Kashmir. “The introduction of this Volvo sleeper coach marks a milestone in the UTI’s transport sector.
