Doda: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda Harvinder Singh Saturday chaired the meeting of District Level Review Committee (DLRC), District Level RSETI Advisory Committee (DLRAC) and District Consultative Committee (DCC) to review the overall performance of banks and assess the progress achieved under the financial and social security schemes in the district.
The meeting was attended by ACR, General Manager DIC, DDM NABARD, officers from the Employment Department, Lead District Officer, Lead District Manager (LDM), and senior officers from the District Administration as well as representatives of all major banks.
The meeting was informed that the district has recorded significant progress under priority and non-priority Sectors during the current financial year 2025–26. The district has achieved 65.83% of the Annual Credit Plan (ACP) targets as on September 30, 2025.
Under the Priority Sector, an amount of Rs. 326.85 crore has been utilized against the annual target of Rs. 761.79 crore, while the Non-Priority Sector registered a credit outlay of Rs. 434.94 crore, the meeting was told.
The DDC directed the bankers to accelerate efforts to meet credit targets in the key priority areas including Education, Housing, and Social Infrastructure. He stressed on close coordination between banks and line departments to ensure efficient implementation of government schemes and improved service delivery. He also instructed banks to intensify the awareness campaign in uncovered and far-flung areas to inform the public about financial inclusion initiatives, social security schemes, youth-oriented programmes and job-linked schemes.
Reviewing the functioning of RSETI, the District Development Commissioner emphasized the need to promote market- oriented skill training, increasing the number of eligible cases, and strengthening of financial and marketing linkages to empower unemployed youth by enhancing livelihood opportunities.
Earlier, LDM Parveen Kumar presented a detailed agenda before the committee, covering bank-wise achievements, progress under government-sponsored schemes, PM-Kisan implementation, Aadhaar seeding, recovery of ineligible PM-Kisan accounts and promotion of education loan schemes including awareness on the Vidya Lakshmi Portal.
Later, the DDC gave away certificates to beneficiaries under the nationwide campaign for quick settlement of unclaimed financial assets (October–December 2025). The campaign—“Aapki Poonji, Aapka Adhikar” (Your Money, Your Right)—is a three-month national initiative launched by the Department of Financial Services (DFS), Government of India, aimed at ensuring rightful claimants receive their pending or unclaimed financial assets in a smooth and hassle-free manner.
