EFPO organizes awareness campaign on PMVBRY, EEC at Anantnag

Ang: The Regional Office, Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Kashmir, organized an awareness session at Eternal Public School Aung, Anantnag to disseminate information about the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana (PMVBRY) and the Employment Enrolment Campaign (EEC) 2025.
The session was led by Vinay Kumar, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-II/OIC, along with a team of officers and officials of EPFO Kashmir.
The initiative aimed to educate employers and employees from the outsource agencies hired by railway about the benefits, eligibility criteria, and procedures under PMVBRY, a flagship scheme of the Ministry of Labour & Employment, which promotes formal employment and encourages job creation in organized establishments.
During the session, the RPFC and their team explained the incentives available for employers enrolling new employees under the scheme and highlighted the importance of compliance with the Employees’ Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952. Participants were also informed about the digital facilities offered by EPFO for ease of registration and claim processing.
The EPFO Kashmir team reiterated its commitment to supporting employers and workers in achieving the vision of a “Viksit Bharat” through inclusive and sustainable employment initiatives.
