Srinagar: President Droupadi Murmu will unveil the digital editions of the Constitution of India in nine languages, including Kashmiri, during a special programme on Constitution Day in New Delhi today on Wednesday, officials said here.
An official told news agency—, that the programme will be held at the old Parliament building’s historic Central Hall in New Delhi at 11 am tomorrow.
This launch makes the full Indian Constitution available in Kashmiri for the first time in an official capacity.
The programme will be presided over by the President of India. It will be attended by the Vice President, Prime Minister, Lok Sabha Speaker, Union Ministers and Members of both Houses of Parliament
“Indian Constitution editions in nine languages – Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Punjabi, Bodo, Kashmiri, Telugu, Odia and Assamese – prepared by the Legislative Department of the Union law ministry, will be launched digitally.
He said that a souvenir titled “Art and Calligraphy from the Constitution of India” (Hindi version) prepared by the Ministry of Culture will also be released.
