Srinagar, Nov 24 : The Meteorological Centre Srinagar on Monday said that Jammu & Kashmir is likely to witness largely dry weather conditions for the next two weeks, with fog and further dip in temperatures expected across several areas.

Director MET, Dr Mukhtar Ahmad said that weather will remain generally dry from November 24 to December 1 across the Union Territory.

He said that on December 2, the weather is expected to turn generally cloudy towards the afternoon, with a brief spell of very light snowfall possible over isolated higher reaches.

From December 3 to 10, the weather is expected to remain dry again, he added.

According to the MET Centre, shallow to moderate fog is likely to continue at many places in Kashmir Division and at isolated areas in Jammu Division during the coming days.

The department further predicted a fall of 1-2°C in both maximum and minimum temperatures over the next week.
