Jammu, 23 November 2025: The Jammu & Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party held a comprehensive review meeting of the Atma Nirbhar Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

J&K BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul chiefly addressed the meeting. J&K Convenor of the Atma Nirbhar Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan & General Secretary J&K BJP Sanjita Dogra, Abhiyan co-convenor Rekha Mahajan (Vice-President), J&K BJP party general secretaries Baldev Singh Billawaria, Anwar Khan and Gopal Mahajan, Abhiyan co-convenors Dinesh Sharma (Secretary), and Arun Sharma (Secretary), besides BJP District Presidents and Abhiyan District convenors and co-convenors of Atma Nirbhar Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan participated in the review meeting.

Ashok Koul undertook an extensive organizational appraisal of all programmes conducted under the Abhiyan across Jammu & Kashmir. He issued clear directives to intensify on-ground mobilization, particularly through Mahila, Yuva and Assembly-level Sammelans. Stressing the importance of mass participation, he urged party cadres to ensure widespread filling of the Sankalp Patra and to administer the pledge promoting the use of Swadeshi products as a collective national duty. He reiterated that the campaign, running from 25 September to 25 December, must reach every booth-level unit for maximum public outreach.

Koul asserted that embracing Swadeshi is not merely an economic preference but a strong political commitment towards reinforcing India’s self-reliance and empowering local industry.

Sanjita Dogra presented a structured roadmap for the upcoming phase of the campaign. She shared insights from the review held at the party’s central office and highlighted the organization’s mission to carry forward the message of “Har Ghar Swadeshi, Ghar-Ghar Swadeshi” to every household in the region.

Rekha Mahajan gave a consolidated overview of the district-level progress, underscoring the scale and societal relevance of conducting the Abhiyan as a region-wide public mobilization initiative.

Baldev Singh Billawaria outlined major organizational activities and spoke on the ongoing programmes commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Anwar Khan detailed the implementation status of the Abhiyan across Kashmir and noted the encouraging grassroots response from diverse communities.

Gopal Mahajan emphasized the growing public receptivity to the Abhiyan, observing that citizens are increasingly aligning themselves with the vision of a self-reliant India.

Dinesh Sharma briefed on the district-wise execution of the campaign and the systematic approach adopted to enhance its reach.

Arun Sharma conducted the meeting proceedings. Presenting vote of thanks, he asked the party leaders to turn Abhiyan into a mass movement.
