Srinagar: As part of the ongoing year long series of activities honouring the legacy of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Police in Awantiporaon Saturday organised a Unity Sports Tournament Kabaddi at Khrew. The event aimed to promote unity, sportsmanship, and teamwork among students values that strongly reflect Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s vision of a united India.
The students participated with great enthusiasm, displaying impressive athletic skills, discipline, and team coordination. The spirited matches symbolised collective effort and resilience, echoing the principles for which Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is remembered. SDPO Pampore R.P. Singh and SHO PS Khrew Inspector Naieem Rashid were present on the occasion and encouraged the participants for their active and energetic involvement. Mementos were presented to winners and runners-up teams, and participation certificates were distributed to all participants.
