Awantipora : Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) on Thursday organized a one-day exposure visit for undergraduate students from Government Sheikh-Ul-Alam Memorial Degree College, Budgam, as part of its Community Connect Initiative.
A group of students, accompanied by four faculty members, visited key academic and innovation facilities on the campus. The visit to the university’s Department of Physics, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, and the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development (CIED) provided students with an in-depth understanding of the academic and research ecosystem. During their time at the MSc Physics Laboratory, students engaged in hands-on experiments and observed demonstrations that were directly related to their curriculum, enhancing their practical knowledge. Additionally, the tour included the High-Performance Computing Lab and the Cyber-Physical Systems, Robotics, and Drone Lab, where students were exposed to emerging technologies and advanced computational facilities.
