SBI RSETI Ramban starts Elective–1 Women Garments Tailor Training Prog

Ramban| :  SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) RambanTuesday inaugurated the Elective–1 Women Garments Tailor Training Programme, a 30-day course aimed at empowering local women with practical tailoring skills and entrepreneurial confidence.

The inaugural ceremony opened with a warm welcome address by Senior Faculty, Amrik Singh Raju, setting an encouraging tone for the event.

This was followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Chief Guest, Shokat Hayat Mattoo, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, alongside Deep Kumar, Tehsildar and S. Harvinder Singh, Director SBI RSETI Ramban.

In his keynote address, Chief Guest, Shokat Hayat Mattoo, applauded RSETI’s contribution to grassroots entrepreneurship. He assured the trainees of continued institutional support and highlighted the opportunities available under various Government Sponsored Schemes such as PMEGP, JKREGP, MUDRA Loans and Mission YUVA, encouraging the participants to leverage these schemes for establishing sustainable livelihood ventures.

Speaking on the occasion, Tehsildar Ramban, Deep Kumar urged the trainees to utilize this training to its fullest potential. He emphasized the importance of skill-based learning and encouraged the participants to move towards becoming self-reliant, confident entrepreneurs.

The inauguration also featured heartfelt testimonials from trainees, who spoke about their journey, how they came to know about RSETI Ramban and the positive impact of the institute’s guidance on their personal and professional aspirations.

The programme concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks by Harvinder Singh, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries for gracing the event and motivating the participants. He also urged the trainees to remain dedicated throughout the training period and assured them of continuous support from the RSETI team.
