KVIB Shopian organises Mega Awareness Camp at Imamsahib

Shopian : A Mega Awareness Camp was Tuesday organised at Government Higher Secondary School, BarbughImamsahib by J&K KVIB Shopian with the objective of generating mass awareness among public regarding self-employment schemes of the board.
The programme witnessed active participation of locals, students, stakeholders and members of society.
District officer, KVIB, Shopian Ahmadullah graced the occasion as the Chief Guest who briefed the participants about schemes under KVIB, employment generation programmes, financial support mechanisms, skill development initiatives and other welfare measures available for public benefit.
LDM, J&K Bank while speaking on the occasion, gave a brief description about the banking facilities being provided to the youth for establishing income generating units to earn their livelihood.
The programme concluded with an interactive session during which officials responded to queries raised by the public.
