Minga also Upgraded Info Office with Latest Equipment

Baramulla : Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, Tuesday inaugurated a newly established Recording Studio at the District Information Office Baramulla, in presence of District Information Officer Iftikhar Naseem.
The facility marks a significant step towards enhancing public outreach on various Centrally Sponsored and UT Government welfare schemes. Content produced in the studio will be shared across social media platforms to ensure accurate, accessible, and wider dissemination.
To strengthen its communication capabilities, the Information Office has also been upgraded with modern equipment, including a Digital Sound System (Mic System) and other essential broadcasting tools. The improved infrastructure is expected to enhance the department’s efficiency in managing routine media activities and major government events.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that the new recording studio will greatly strengthen communication between the government and the public, ensuring that information on welfare schemes reaches every household.
He stressed that awareness is the foundation of empowerment, and well-informed citizens can make better use of government programmes designed for their welfare.
The DC added that the role of the Information Department extends beyond sharing scheme-related information and must also include highlighting developmental works, documenting success stories, and raising awareness on critical issues such as drug abuse, traffic rules, and other public concerns. He noted that the studio will serve as an important platform for producing meaningful and impactful content through pod Cast “Jhelum Se Chenab Tak”for the community.
It is pertinent to mention that the Chief Secretary, Jammu & Kashmir, recently launched the podcast series “Jhelum Se Chenab Tak” at Dakbanglow Baramulla. The podcast aims to provide citizens with clear and reliable information about government initiatives through conversations with concerned officers.
